Name: Kate Kane Door: door pass: Dominant Canon: DCTV Canon Point: Crisis Age: 30 Appearance: here History: here plus this Personality: Throughout the series, Kate is often likened to her cousin, Bruce- almost being seen as a female version of him more often than not. She's often BROODING, upset with the state of Gotham after Batman's disappearance of 3 years. Though her father's Crow's do a well enough job keeping the peace, they aren't able to handle things after Alice shows up, partly due to a mole in the security service. Fearless and passionate, Kate isn't afraid to voice her opinions or back down from them. When attending Point Rock, her superiors learned of her relationship with Sophie and gave both of them an ultimatum: deny their homosexual relationship or be expelled. While Sophie was ready to deny their relationship, Kate refused to do so and was subsequently expelled- but she wouldn't do it any other way. This, including her RECKLESS behavior can also be seen when she and Sophie are eating at a restaurant and the owner approaches them, uncomfortable that they might be openly homosexual, and suggests that the restaurant isn't the place for them. Angry and defiant, Kate makes a scene- calling him out on his homophobia loudly in front of the restaurant, and refusing to stay when he offers to serve them anyways in an attempt to save his own skin. Kate is BLUNT, not one to mince words, but tends to be ANTI-SOCIAL, both as herself and as Batwoman. She tends to try and keep people at arm's length, especially after the Point Rock situation with Sophie. It's easier to work alone and to not let anyone in- keep everyone at an arm's length away and she won't have to worry about getting hurt or other's getting hurt for being connected to her. Throughout her childhood and young-adulthood, Kate was a generally optimistic individual. Though her sister was presumed dead, thanks to evidence planted by her step-mother, Kate never gave up the hope that she was still alive. She was the first to realize and believe, despite lack of evidence otherwise, that Beth is Alice. Unfortunately for Kate, it took her until Beth's murder of Catherine and framing of their father for her to realize that there is no redemption for her twin. The Paragon of Courage, Kate has shown her courage in a multitude of ways, from her refusal to conform to society's standards to her willingness to stand up to Kara and Bruce. While it takes courage to stand up to enemies, it takes even more courage to stand up to your friends and family. When Kara might have made the Crisis situation worse and hurt herself, Kate stood up to her and told her she'd stop her by any means necessary, even as Kara pushed back. Powers and Abilities: Kate is an extremely athletic individual, between playing soccer in her youth to her time as a top cadet at Point Rock Academy. After leaving Point Rock, she traveled the world, much like Bruce, to learn different martial arts and self defense techniques. Intelligent and clever, Kate possesses a keen sense for running Wayne Enterprises while dealing with everything else. Inventory: Her Bat-suit, grapple hook, and batarangs Samples: one + un: K.Kane It's come to my attention that my cousin was once in this city- but 'returned' home. I have some questions, I think, about the time different between here and back home- if anyone has any knowledge of it. From what I understand, there's speculation of what happens when someone leaves the city. Aside from what I'm sure is a very hot topic around here to some: if anyone has and hot tips for a new Dominant around here, I'm more than willing to hear them. |
